The replacement ink collector for the Epson SC-V1000 stores the ink removed from the system during printhead cleaning. 
This maintenance kit helps you keep your printer performing at its best and delivers clear, crisp results.

Replacing the casing:

  1. Turn off your printer.
  2. Remove the new maintenance box from the packaging.
    Warning: Do not touch the chip on the side of the maintenance box, you may damage the product.
  3. Use the handle located at the bottom of the maintenance box to carefully remove it from the product without tilting it.
  4. Place the used maintenance box in the bag provided with the new box and seal the bag.
  5. Insert the new maintenance box into the housing.
