What is the difference between DTF transfer and screen printing transfer? +
DTF transfer is a digital printing method: it accepts photos, gradients, unlimited colors, and can be applied to all colored textiles. Screen printing transfer offers a softer finish, closer to traditional screen printing, but is limited to solid colors (maximum 5). Digital screen printing transfer also accepts photos and gradients.
What file format should I send to place my order? +
For DTF printing, send your file as a PNG with a transparent background or as a vector PDF, ideally at a minimum of 150 dpi and actual size. For screen printing, a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF) is preferable to ensure crisp, solid colors. If you have any doubts, our technical department can modify your file (the "File Modification: White Background" option is available).
What are the production lead times for ready-to-press transfers? +
Delivery times vary depending on the printing technique and option chosen. For DTF printing, the Express option allows for 24-hour shipping (orders placed before 1:30 PM). For screen printing, a 72-hour Express option is available. Standard delivery times are 3 to 5 business days, depending on the order volume.
Do the transfers withstand washing? +
Yes. Créadhésif DTF transfers are tested to withstand 60 washes at 40°C without cracking or peeling, provided that the care instructions are followed: wash inside out at 30-40°C max, tumble dry low temperature, do not iron directly on the design.
Can I order stretchable transfers for stretch textiles? +
Yes. In screen printing transfer, a stretchable, full-color is available, specially formulated for stretch fabrics (Lycra, Spandex, Elastane). For multi-color designs on highly stretchable fabrics, DTF remains the most suitable solution thanks to its natural flexibility.
Does sublimation work on cotton? +
No. Sublimation is a technique that requires a 100% polyester fabric, white or light-colored, to work properly. On cotton, the colors will be faded and the transfer won't last. To personalize any color cotton with photos or gradients, choose DTF ().
