Erosive base for plastisol ink: Ryocharge

Imagine the look and feel of an etching ink with plastisol. Simply add 50% RyoCharge additive to 50% plastisol ink, mix with the activator, and you can now print with a hybrid plastisol and etching ink. RyoCharge additive works great with all plastisol inks.

Note: RyoCharge base must be activated with etching ink activator.

Available in 1-gallon or 5-gallon containers.

Application:
1) Mix RyoCharge 50/50 with your plastisol ink. Stir until the mixture is homogeneous. Do not use high-speed mixers, as these can heat the ink and cause it to harden in the container.
 2) Add 3 to 6% by weight of activator to the mixture and stir until the activator is completely dissolved in the ink.

Once mixed, the ink can be stored for up to 24 hours.

Printing:
Use a squeegee with a high hardness. Print wet-on-wet without intermediate drying. The true color will only appear after curing. For long print runs, if drying occurs, spray the screen with water to improve ink viscosity.

Curing:
Cure for a minimum of 90 seconds at 160°C to activate the etching agent and achieve good wash resistance. Too rapid evaporation of the water stops the etching reaction and can result in dull colors.
