The Tajima TMEZ-KC is an innovative multi-head embroidery machine, a new product from Tajima in 2020 and the first in the world to feature automatic thread management (i-TM) and the DCP digital presser foot. Available with 2 to 8 heads, it is ideal for embroidering logos and emblems in small to medium runs, delivering consistent quality even for novice operators.
TMEZ-KC Embroidery Machine — New from Tajima 2020, a world first
The Tajima TMEZ-KC is an innovative multi-head embroidery machine equipped with automatic thread management. Thanks to its two exclusive technologies, i-TM and DCP, it offers consistent and professional embroidery quality, regardless of the fabric or design being worked on.
The advantages
i-TM device
The i-TM device allows for optimal and automatic thread management.
Better productivity
Mass production can be launched quickly without laborious sampling.
DCP function
The independent digitally controlled presser foot is a revolutionary device developed by Tajima.
Stable, high-quality dots with i-TM and DCP
It is no longer necessary to adjust the upper thread tension according to the stitch, pattern or material, as skilled operators do on conventional embroidery machines.
Tajima's Digitally Controlled Presser Foot (DCP) measures fabric thickness at every stitch, and its Automatic Thread Management Technology (i-TM) automatically dispenses the correct amount of top thread based on fabric thickness and stitch length in just 0.05 seconds. The DCP also eliminates fabric flapping and ensures stable stitching.
Point 1 — Stable production of high-quality embroidery
Even if the item to be embroidered or the type of thread changes frequently, as in the case of a store order, the machine always provides the best possible stitches without the need to change the settings.
Point 2 — Significant reduction in the time between order and delivery
The time required for embroidery trials and adjustments is reduced, and the speed can be increased with less risk of thread breakage, resulting in an estimated 30% reduction in processing time compared to conventional machines.
Point 3 — Reduce quality defects
DCP reduces fabric flutter, resulting in fewer pressure marks and thread cutting errors, and therefore a reduction in the number of defective pieces.
Point 4 — Quick start of the embroidery service
Even in shops where operators are frequently replaced, anyone can easily produce professional-quality embroidery by simply learning the basic techniques. It's also possible to start an embroidery business from day one.
* The figures above are estimates provided by the Tajima Group based on its own standards. Actual results may vary depending on customer production and are for guidance purposes only.
* The time required for upper thread adjustment is assumed to be zero, as the i-TM automatically provides the appropriate amount of thread for each fabric thickness and stitch.
* Productivity calculations assume 10,000 stitches on an 8-head embroidery machine.
* Training time can be significantly reduced, as upper thread tension no longer requires adjustment based on material.
Tajima quality recognized by the biggest brands
Tajima machines are used by leading brands and fashion houses. They produce a beautiful finish, whether using a satin stitch, a running stitch, or a scalloped stitch. Furthermore, a variety of options for sequins and beads allows for additional forms of expression. Thanks to multi-head technology, where all heads are synchronized, each embroidery gains in finesse and consistency.
Suitable for any finished product, regardless of the item
Fast and neat cap embroidery
A large-diameter axle makes it easy for anyone to install the cap frame. The three-point locking system between the feed ring and the frame ensures a more stable attachment, less needle breakage and pattern misalignment, at a maximum speed of 1,000 stitches per minute.
The reinforced arm supports heavy items
Three times stronger than the arms of traditional embroidery machines, they are better suited for embroidery on jackets and other heavy items.
Slim cylinder arm for small items
The small diameter of the cylinder arm and the bobbin cover make it easy to embroider finished products such as sleeves and pockets.
DCP function — Independent digitally controlled presser foot
The digitally controlled presser foot reduces fabric flutter. Its height can be adjusted directly on the machine's control screen according to the material thickness. The fabric no longer puckers, even when using difficult-to-embroider materials such as leather, heavy fabrics, stretch fabrics, or quilted fabrics.
User-friendly design
In addition to i-TM and DCP, the machine offers a wide variety of operator-friendly functions and options. This reduces the operator's workload while ensuring high-quality embroidery production and smooth machine operation.
12.1-inch touchscreen
One of the largest control panels in the industry, with convenient icons and language switching available for machine operation.
Direct order
Located on the head, these control buttons allow control of the wire cutter and other functions at each voltage base, for increased production efficiency.
New automatic wire cutter
Eliminating the pricker makes coil replacement easier and allows for more stable cutting, with a 40% improvement compared to conventional machines.
The TMEZ-KC series of multi-head cylindrical arm embroidery machines are equipped with Tajima's latest and most advanced technologies. They are ideal for embroidering logos and emblems on products such as sportswear and caps, in small to medium production runs. Thanks to the i-TM and DCP systems, even beginners can embroider on any type of material, at high speed and with consistent quality.
