The Thermobase TB7 is a heated platen compatible with all Secabo 40 x 50 cm heat presses, such as the TC7 SMART and TS7 SMART, as well as many older models.
With the new TB7, heat in a heat press comes not only from above but also from below. This allows for lower transfer temperatures, shorter transfer times, and reduced marks on textiles.Furthermore, the temperature can be lowered by the second heating plate, which is gentle on the fabric. The heated lower platen is particularly recommended for delicate textiles.
Transfers made with a white toner printer and sublimation transfers are also much more reliable, repeatable, and of higher quality with a fixed-temperature base plate! The TB7's temperature is regulated by its own Secabo controller.
The Thermobase is lightly padded but can also be fitted with a hard or extra-soft mat, depending on the application.

Recommended for toner transfer 

For toner transfers, you generally need to press two sheets (paper/film) and then remove them at the same temperature. This process is much easier and more reliable with a heated lower platen, resulting in better transfer results compared to standard lower plates. The new "THE BEAST" heat press achieves this perfectly with its new TB7 platen. 

Easy to assemble

The TB7 heated lower platen fits all new Secabo heat presses and can also be mounted on quick change carriages and sliding carriages, so smaller interchangeable plates can be used easily.

Particularly suitable for delicate textiles

The lower heating platen of the TB7 tends to press at a lower temperature because the energy doesn't have to pass completely through the fabric via the upper heating platen. The parallel heating from below therefore protects the fabrics.
